The Buzz About Honey: Hive Tour 6/26/21

On Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:00AM, get up close to our beehives with our knowledgable Master Beekeeper for a unique hands-on experience with bees.  Learn where honey comes from, how a beehive works, and how to take care of the hive in this one hour on-farm hive tour.  Spots are limited – may fill up fast!

Bee jackets and gloves will be provided.  Please wear strong, sturdy pants and closed toe shoes that cover the ankle.  All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to entering the hives.

Tickets: $30/person.  Children ages 5-10 are free with the purchase of an adult ticket – Please add comment “plus child” during checkout.  One child (ages 5-10) per adult.  Must be purchased in advance.  Non-refundable.

*Please note: tour is subject to being rescheduled due to inclement weather.  Also, please avoid wearing strong scents such as perfume or cologne.  We want the bees to be their happiest when we visit them!

Covid precautions: Bee jackets will be washed, sanitized, and individually wrapped prior to your arrival.  Provided gloves are disposable (nitrile rubber).  CDC recommendations at the time of the tour will be followed.  Please do not attend if anyone in your party is feeling unwell – contact us to reschedule to a later date.

An email will be sent out prior to the hive tour with full details and instructions.
